Interviewed by an Italian radio, Fausto Pari, one of the agent of Italian international Matteo Darmian, had his say on the possible move of his client in January:
“We need to understand what Manchester United wants. They refused any bid by Italian sides. He’s not playing at all, that’s a shame since he is in an international. If in January things stay the way they are, we have to think to an exit strategy. Teams keen on him? Inter were on him, it was on every newspaper too. Napoli? They have Strinic who’s a full back too, I won’t put my self in the shoes of Giuntoli (Napoli’s sports chief).”
