After Sunday’s draw against Milan it’s back to the Europa League for Inter. Tomorrow at 7:00 PM (CET) Inter will play away against Hapoel Be’er Sheva. This is what Inter coach Stefano Pioli had to say on his press conference earlier today:
How is the squad recovering after the derby?
“We showed character Sunday night, but we want to give my best tomorrow. It will not be easy, but we will try to win.”
Already thinking about the next games?
“Tactically, we are working on all game situations. We have not much time, but we want to do well. What counts is only tomorrow’s game, we do not think of the next.”
What do you think of the fact that we speak often of Simone?
“I do not think about these things, I just want to work and take advantage of this great opportunity to bring Inter to where it deserves.”
Have you studied your opponent for tomorrow?
“I’ve had a good look at our opponents. Hapoel Be’er Sheva are doing well in the league and they’ve done well in Europe too. They’re good technically and they’re a physical side too but we’ve got what it takes to do well.”
What role do you see the best Banega?
“We are talking about a great player. I choose as those players that I consider the best for the match. I can not say whether or not he will play tomorrow, but he is good at playing between the lines. I like a dynamic midfield.”
This match is decisive for qualification, did it come at the right time?
“Of course, it came at the best time. We have to climb a mountain, but we’ll try.”
What kind of pressure does this put on you and the squad?
“Normal, it’s part of the game. We are Inter and so we have to play our cards. We will be ready tomorrow night.”
