FCInterNews.it report that Inter will not be able to sign Francesco Acerbi in the upcoming mercato, not because they can’t afford to but because lowly Sassuolo are unwilling to sell key players in the middle of the season. Come the Summer time, Inter will make an approach for the central defender, who by then will have just one year left on his contract, if there is no renewal beforehand. With that in mind, Sassuolo may look to cash in before losing him for nothing the following Summer if no renewal is penned.
