Speaking at a press conference at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, Javier Zanetti spoke of the present and the future of the Nerazzurri:
“Football is growing, I’m the vice president of Inter and the owners are Chinese” – said the Argentine – Suning are very serious, they want to open a new cycle and make history. We can make things even more important and through the clubs’ values, return to be protagonists.”
Inter still great? “It is our goal. Suning has big ambitions and clear ideas. We want Inter to challenge back for the most important competitions.”
Zanetti also spoke about his years as a player at Inter: “During my career I have realized that without sacrifice you can do nothing. In Italy, I learned a lot, I was lucky to have played with Inter, which has given me so much and taught me the culture of work. For me, I can face all the challenges.”
