Reports coming out of Brazil reveal that Inter negotiated to pay Felipe Melp a one time sum of € 3 million to get the Brazilian midfielder to terminate his contract with the Nerazzurri.
Given that Melo’s contract was set to expire in June 2018 and that the Nerazzurri would pay Melo a little more than €7 million net in total if the contract had been allowed to be completed, it is easy to state that Inter have made quite a good deal.
It is further reported that Melo will be the second highest earner at Palmeiras after Lucas Barrios earbing in total including bonuses €2,1 million over 3 years.
