CalcioMercato.com reveals that Inter have decided to sell French midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia before making an attempt to sign Wolfsburg’s Brazilian midfielder Luiz Gustavo.
According to the report Inter are adamant not to go into the red in the books so the Nerazzurri are open to allowing the player to leave on a loan with option to buy basis in January. If Kondogbia were to be sold in June, the minum fee Inter are asking for is €25 million, but should he be loaned out for 18 months the clause to make the deal permanent in June 2018 will be set at around €16-17 million.
Calciomercato.com report further that Luiz Gustavo is seen as the ideal replacement for the Frenchman both tactically and financially. The Brazilian midfielder’s contract is set to expire in June 2018 and accordint to the report, Wolfsburg have given Inter an indication that they are prepared to accept a loan offer with an opton to make the deal permanent.
