Kostas Manolas agent, John Evagelopoulos, spoke with Sport MS regarding the rumors circulating about his client.
“During this transfer window there is nothing more than the stories invented by the media. I can’t day with certainty that he wont leave but I think that maybe in the summer something could happen, if anything should happen. It’s difficult in football as it is in life in general to make predictions about the future.”
“Kostas has the ability to play at the highest level so I will say that he will not move to China. Football in Europe can give you some things that money can’t such as fame and glory. It’s important to have confidence in yourself and Kostas plays at a high level. I can’t say where he prefers playing we need to see which clubs are interested. Last summer Arsenal made an offer of €40 million for Kostas but was refused. In the past Arsenal have been very interested but Roma’s asking price has superceeded the English club’s financial capability” Evagelopoulos concludes.
