Peter Kenyon has worked as CEO for Manchester United (1997-2003) and Chelsea (2003-2009) but he has a part to play with Inter now.
The Englishman is now working as Suning’s global footballing consultant.
“They are serious, sophisticated, and they understand football,” he said to Football & Finance.
The paper wrote, “Kenyon would be the strategic supervisor of not only the activities between Jiangsu and Inter, but also other clubs the the Chinese would buy in Europe.”
“Zhang Jindong will be in talks to buy two other clubs in Europe, one in Belgium, and one in Portugal. Advanced talks with due diligence are already in place.
Kia Joorabchian is working together with the Chinese on this front as well.
