Corriere dello Sport reports in today’s paper edition about Inter’s plans for the transfer market this coming summer.
“At the Pinetina everyone is crazy for Marquinos but the PSG’s Brazilian defender has recently let everyone know that he is happy in Paris and wants to stay despite not having been offered a new contract. PSG aren’t looking to allow any openings regarding a departure for the former Roma defender, but Suning want to follow the situation closely to see if anything changes. In tandem to these negotiations the one concerning Manolas has been tabled who will leave Roma. Some contacts with the Greek player’s entourage have already been made and the biggest difficulty will be to agree terms with his club given that there already is an agreement in place in principle for a contract worth €3 million per season plus bonuses. Inter also considered Lazio’s De Vrij but have understood that Lotito intends to sell him abroad, to the Premier League.”
“Then there is the issue of the full-backs, surely a leftsided full-back will arrive, with Wolfsburg’s Rodriguez in pole position for that role, but also watch out for the possibility of landing a rightsided full-fullback too. Benfica’s Semedo was evaluated but the price for the deal is very high. The name that has emerged is Nice’s Ricardo Pereira (on loan from Porto). A half promise of sorts was made last summer to Zabaleta who, if not offered a new contract will be a free agent, but his characteristics don’t match the parameters of this new Inter” Corriere dello Sport conclude.
