“I always had the dream of becoming an important player for Croatia and a great club, even when I was a child. And now I have realised my dream, by playing for both Inter and the national team.” Those were the words of Ivan Perišić in an interview with FIFA’s official television channel.
He continued: “The difference between German and Italian football? In the Bundesliga there is more space whereas Serie A is much more tactical. I’m learning.”
The Nerazzurri’s number 44 then spoke of how pleased he is to be representing the black and blue half of Milan: “I am fine here at Inter. We are talking about a club which won the Champions League in 2010. As soon as I knew of their interest, I did not think twice and I pushed hard to reach Milan. The City is beautiful, and we hope to improve a lot this season.”
