Stefano Pioli spoke with Inter Channel before his press conference ahead of Roma:
“We had some illnesses, but we are recovering, the week is going well, let’s see what choices to make.”
Roma has made three changes on the bench like Inter recently and are changing, is the secret of Italian coaches ductility?
“The skill lies in trying to figure out what features the players have and how to make them effective in one system or another. Then maybe along the way you realise that certain solutions give you the advantages and opt for those. Only during the working week you figure out what to keep the same and what to change.”
The two teams are both solid in defence and historically always end up with many goals, how will it be on Sunday?
“Both have important values and will try to bring out their strengths and hide their flaws. We are 8 points behind Roma but performance wise the teams are close and this match will be decided by details, by balls that may seem harmless.”
