Jiangsu Suning were convincingly beaten 4-0 by Shanghai Shenua in their Chinese Super League season opener. Debutant Carlos Tevez scored the fourth – and his first – for Shanghai while former Inter midfielder Fredy Guarin also took part. Jiangsu forward and Inter linked Roger Martinez left the field through injury early into the encounter.
