Yesterday Roberto Gagliardini posted on his Facebook and Instagram pages about the upcoming game against Atalanta. Andrea Petagna saw the post and commented: “kill yourself”.
The friendship between the both remains the same, but each clearly expresses it in his own way. Andrea and Roberto are however friends for real, but they weren’t always team mates. In 2013 Gagliardini was Petagna’s opponent in a Primavera league semifinal between Milan & Atalanta. When Gagliardini left for Inter, Andrea left him this message: “Good luck lion. You’re strong, I will miss you, but first go to the hairdresser and change fix your hair.”
The Atalanta striker was interviewed by Sky Sports, speaking about the upcoming Sunday afternoon match against Inter and his former teammate Roberto Gagliardini:
“If you ask about Gagliardini’s flaws, I will speak of his clothes. I always tell him. As a footballer, in fact, I have nothing to say. When I played in Milan, I knew that these players were strong Grassi, Gagliardini, Conti, Palma and Caldara. Gagliardini has physical strength, this helps him to always push forward. I remember once, in training the coach yelled “Gaglirdini, you’re not a trequartistaaaa!!”. I’m helping him settle in Milan. In Vicenza, he lived in my former house. Tell him, now that he is at Inter, he needs a certain style.”
