Despite losing 7-1 to the hands of Inter Milan, Atalanta striker Andrea Petagna has made it clear that he wants to stay at the club in the North of Italy and qualify for European competitions rather than join the Milan clubs, both of which have expressed interested in the 21-year-old.
“The goal remains the same,” said the former Milan player. “The Europa League is within our reach and we will work for that, the Champions League was just a dream trip.”
“I still see myself in Atalanta, it’s nice to see that Inter is interested in me but I’m happy with where I am now,” he said.
