Hernan Crespo spoke on what he hopes is the reason behind Edgardo Bauza’s continual snubbing of Mauro Icardi for the Argentine national team: “Great players must be selected, I guess that Bauza’s decision is for respect. Maybe he doesn’t want to disrespect him by calling him and sitting him on the bench. I don’t think Bauza wants to force Icardi through a 38 hour round trip to watch two games. I hope this is the real reason.”
