You guys only see the positive things in Kondo, but Gagliardini gets exposed everytime cuz he doesn’t help the defence all the time, not sayin that Brozo is better at defending, but his work rate is superior to Kondo’s.
You’re crazy to think Kondo doesn’t help in defence. He wins a lot of headers, something which goes overlooked, and wins balls cleanly, without fouls. Gagli is better at positioning.
Kondo has been a beast in ending plays from the mid. Honestly, I think without him we would have seen a lot of dangerous strikes from the opposition.
Brozo over Kondo? Pioli keeps making these stupid mistakes. Unless Brozo is in to hype up the price for next season’s transfer, this change is head-scratching.

It’s not like Joao Mario is a flop and isn’t worth the money we paid for him, it’s more of a situation where all of our midfielders are playing good and it’s so close you can’t really dismiss anyone as a starter. And the 2 midfielders of our 5 (Joao Mario, Kongodbia, Gagliardini, Brozović and Banega) that don’t start the game are usually later subbed in.
