Gazzetta dello Sport have reviewed Inter’s summer signings impact this season. Each of the five signings have an average rating ranging between 5.74 and 6.09. Antonio Candreva and Joao Mario are tied with the 6.09 rating and Gazzetta detail that their contribution was expected to be larger for the fees paid [25 million and 45 million respectively]. Gabigol has a 6.01 rating but it must be remembered that his opportunities have been much more scarce than the two aforementioned. Banega has a 5.84 rating and his contribution was also expected to be higher, despite having 6 goals, 3 of them came in the thrashing of Atalanta. Finally, Cristian Ansaldi, despite an upturn in form as of late has a 5.74 rating, something that can’t be ignored.
