After Monday’s 1-2 win at the Meazza against Inter, Fabio Quagliarella spoke to reporters and said, “You can’t say you have already beaten us before playing us. This is something that gives us an edge over the bigger teams. This is something that the Mister tells us and its something we live by. We always follow his instruction and it gives us satisfaction.”
When asked about his late penalty conversion to give Sampdoria the win, Fabio said, “Handanovic is a big guy so it was always going to be difficult but I got him in the end.”
“We won both derbies against Genoa this season and beat Inter and Milan at the Giuseppe Meazza. That’s historic. We’re proud,” Quagliarella said ecstatically.
