UEFA has published its own list which ranks the top goalscoring defenders in the history of the Champions League, and two former Inter players occupy the first and second positions.
Roberto Carlos is the top goalscoring defender with 16 goals and is ahead of another former Nerazzurri defender in Christian Panucci with 11 strikes. However, both of these players didn’t score any of their goals with the club.
Gerard Pique is level with Panucci and they are closely followed by Sergio Ramos and John Terry who both have ten.
