Stefano Pioli has taken little time to reflect on his sacking from Inter last night and has already taken strides toward his next managerial gig which will be his 12th senior team job in total. TuttoMercatoWeb report that the former Inter manager met with Fiorentina’s sporting director Pantaleo Corvino this morning to discuss taking over at Fiorentina in the summer with it widely accepted that Paulo Sousa’s time is up in Florence. Negotiations are taking place ahead of schedule as it was expected that Pioli would be kept on by the Nerazzurri until the end of the season before being relieved of his duties. Pioli is no stranger to Fiorentina having enjoyed a six year spell there during his playing career between 1989 and 1994 and he is getting closer and closer to returning and becoming the next manager at the Stadio Artemi Franchi.
