Recently appointed Walter Sabatini and Inter’s sporting director Piero Ausilio’s role will not directly clash Gazzetta dello Sport report. Sabatini has been appointed as Suning’s man and will represent both clubs opposed to just Inter. The former Roma and Palermo director will talk on behalf of Suning to the media while Ausilio will answer to the owners and president of the Nerazzurri. In short, Ausilio will remain the sporting director and Sabatini will take control of all operations. They will both however work together and both agree that Antonio Conte should be the next manager of the club following the sacking of Stefano Pioli earlier this week.
Morever, Gazzetta detail how Steven Zhang is making strides towards securing the former Azzurri manager. Zhang will offer the current manager of Chelsea 70 million over a five year contract. Zhang is also working on bringing in some of Conte’s old friends, starting with Gabriele Oriali who will have the same role he did in Conte’s Italy setup, team manager. In the coming hours, Inter will also discuss Cristian Stellini with Genoa, their current Primavera coach.
