Tuttosport report that Inter are denying Angel Di Maria being close to the club despite Sporting Director Piero Ausilio being in Paris to talk with Paris Saint Germain in recent days. Ausilio’s trip concerned the future of Inter winger Ivan Perisic, who the Nerazzurri hope to fetch between 50 and 60 million euros for. A number of other names, including that of Di Maria’s, were discussed by the parties with possible moves in both directions.
However, a move for the Argentine at this stage is on hold. The former Manchester United attacker has a 9 million per season salary and the Parc des Princes side would like a similar figure to the one Inter would like to Perisic, as mentioned above. Such figures will not be paid while Inter remain manager-less. The 29 year old joined PSG back in 2015 after just one season in England on a four year contract for an undisclosed fee.
