Ranocchia: “Satisfied and proud of my spell with Hull, thank you”

Andrea Ranocchia took to Twitter to confirm that he would be returning to Inter upon the expiry of his loan with Hull City. The centre back penned a note to the fans of the Tigers: “Although this year started with so much uncertainty, I have always given everything I had to be ready. After the first part of the season, I had the opportunity to make a radical change in my life; a new experience, and I instinctively decided to catch it. I knew since the beginning the difficulties that I would have faced: playing in a different way, the language and the cultural differences…but I had the fortune to meed a solid group of real men, an extraordinary technical and medical team and amazing fans that even after the team had been relegated, kept supporting us till the end and even after! Eventually I would have signed for a different ending but I go home satisfied and proud, knowing that I have given all and hoping that the team, the society and the incomparable supporters will return to where they belong. From now you have a new friend and biggest fan!! Thank you! Go Hull Tigers.”
