Roberto Mancini has been pictured with the CEO of Gazprom Alexei Miller, heightening speculation that he is to become the next Zenit St Petersburg manager. A meeting with the CEO has become a customary act for a manager before taking charge at the Gazprom backed Zenit. Confirmation of his appointment could come tomorrow or the day after. It is understood that Mancini will earn between €5-6 million per season while in Russia.
