TuttoUdinese.it released the statements regarding Samir Handanovic, Inter’s goalkeeper, as he was spotted in Friuli on his first day of vacation after the end of the season:
“If I were the Pozzo family, for next season, I would aim to choose between on of Meret or Scuffet and the other I would loan him out to a major league team in Italy or in Europe, then in a year, certainly they will have two great keepers.”
“The last league match against Udinese in Milan does not count. I’m sure that with two acquisitions this team can have a great season next year. It has been very good here in Udine, I have good memories, I still have friends and, why not, if I wanted to, I could even think to come back to finish my career here, where many goalkeepers in Serie A are born from.”
