Jiangsu Suning coach Gianluca Zambrotta spoke to Corriere dello Sport on how the opportunity came about: “It was a proposal from Fabio Capello. He was negotiating to come here. At the end of the Champions League final he asked me if I was willing to go with him, to help him on his staff. I told him that for me it would be an honour to work with him, we know one another well because he coached me for two years at Juventus. As a coach he is a winner, a great professional, a connoisseur of football.”
