There has been no secret kept about Inter’s courtship of Paris Saint Germain’s Angel Di Maria in recent weeks as Suning look to land a big name signing at the Nerazzurri. It has been suggested that PSG would like an Inter player involved in negotiations. Geoffrey Kondogbia’s name has been mentioned but Corriere dello Sport now report that PSG would like Inter’s second most expensive player ever, Joao Mario.
Inter would be willing to include the Portuguese midfielder in to negotiations in order to secure the signature of the Argentine. Di Maria’s wages were initially thought to be a stumbling block but he would be willing to drop from €9 million per season to €6-6.5 million per season.
Di Maria is not the only player currently on the Parc des Princes’ clubs books that Inter are interested in. Walter Sabatini and Piero Ausilio also like midfielder Adrien Rabiot and full back Serge Aurier.
