Sky Sport (UK) report that newly promoted Huddersfield Town have lodged an official bid with Inter for Andrea Ranocchia. The central defender spent half of last term on loan in the Premier League and could soon be returning to England. It is now up to the 29 year old to decide whether he wants a return to England or not. The figures of the offer were not disclosed.

Sky Sports would have you believe the English football league started in 1992, but before Thatcher and the Tories polices decimated Northern England, it was the birthplace of regulation football and Huddersfield have quite a proud history.
