Juventus appear to have abandoned the idea of adding Douglas Costa to their ranks in favour of adding Real Madrid’s Danilo instead, addressing the gap left by compatriot Dani Alves. The reasoning behind this is due to both players being holders of non-EU passports.
Inter are therefore now in the lead to land the Brazilian attacker according to German outlet Sport Bild. Over the course of pre-season, the Bavarian clubs manager Carlo Ancelotti will evaluate the 26 year old before a decision will be taken on whether to send him out on loan or sell him.
