A hectic transfer window start for the Serie A side, Sampdoria. La Samp are in big trouble in the offensive department according to Il Secolo XIX, the departure of Luis Muriel to Sevilla is almost a done deal and the Patrik Schick transfer to Juventus leaves Sampdoria with no real strikers. With this in mind, the first objective for Il Doria is to retrieve former Eder Martins from the Nerazzurri after loaning him out on a two-year deal with option to purchase. Some words spoken by Luciano Spalletti yesterday left many question the manager’s interest in the Italian striker. Inter would be willing to let Eder depart for no more than 5-6M Euros. A figure which seems very reasonable and fully within the reach of Sampdoria. Eder would then return to play alongside his colleague Quagliarella.
