Before Inter’s second training session in Singapore, Milan Skriniar spoke to the media about his new club.
“Inter is a great team, where I am very good, everyone is helping me, I want to grow more and more.”
The Slovak was asked a few things about his time at Inter so far and his expectations for the season.
“We have to go into every game wanting to win, trying to reach positions that a club like ours should be in.”
He was then asked whether Handanovic had been helping him settle in, to which he replied: “But we are of two different nationalities [laughing].
“Everything is going well, we have to work hard to improve, I think it’s normal to find some difficulties at this time, but we are getting ready for the best.
“My ambition is to always improve. I hope this idea is shared by all my teammates. I play for Inter, my job is to contribute to the group.
“We are working on new ideas based on Spalletti, who really wants something different than what was had before at Inter.
“The whole team must improve, the same goes for us defenders. We know other teams have strengthed, but we must only think of ourselves.”
