Mario Corso: “There’s still a lot of work to be done on the market, it’s obvious.”

Interviewed by CalcioNews24.com, legend Mario Corso commented on the Nerazzurri’s transfer market:

“How can I say that I’m satisfied for now? There’s still a lot of work to be done on the market, it’s obvious. The available squad is incomplete, despite the leadership there is a great commander like Luciano Spalletti. They need big signings, important ones, in order to get to the next level.”

Give us an example.
“Arturo Vidal is the perfect profile for the new Inter: He is hungry, he is talented and knows the Italian league well.”

New players arrive, do you still like Icardi as captain?
“Icardi is a great player and he can stay where he is. There is so much gossip on these things, but when a team struggles, it isn’t down to who’s the captain.”

Suning continues to look for youngsters in the market, is that the right strategy?
“Absolutely not.”

Explain.
“There’s a lot of young promising players in the squad already: Pinamonti, Vergani, Merola.”
