Mor’s ex-agent Soofizadeh: “It was all done with Inter but Suning wanted to retract the offer”

Emre Mor’s former agent Bariz Soofizadeh spoke to violanews.com on the reasons behind failed moves to Inter and Fiorentina: “It was all done with Fiorentina, Emre Mor’s arrival in Florence was scheduled for July 31st but the same night, we received a very interesting offer from Inter. The bid was far higher than the Viola’s, both for Dortmund and Mor himself, who would have earned almost 60% more.”

Soofizadeh then went in to more detail about negotiations with Inter: “On August 4th we were in Milan and after 5-6 hours of discussion with the Nerazzurri during which Emre Mor was present by conference call, we signed a pre-contract with the club. Walter Sabatini insisted that the player signed the same day. Returning home, we confirmed to Borussia Dortmund the good outcome of the deal. The following Monday we were waiting for the announcement on the date of medical examinations, but in a few days everything had changed: Inter wanted to retract the offer because the Chinese club owners did not agree on many aspects that were in the pre-contract. Inter also involved Mircea Lucescu, the Turkish national team manager. He advised Mor to leave his agent to go to a big club. The new agent then promised to take him to Milan.”
