A word about todays opponent: You really have to give them credit. Spal put up a good fight and never gave up. They play very low-practical football, but they stick to their plan and on any day they might just get a goal or two by the chances they end up creating. I don’t see them going back down to Seria B if they continue like that.

agreed. They will turn into Sassuolo. A mediocre club, but make things diffcult for many teams. Also, they have Paloschi and Boriello who are experienced in SERI A.
But honestly playing without an anchor is really2 risky. Too much time we have a big hole between our duo mids with the defenders. Once we encounter a bigger team who can exploit this huge gap, we are in trouble. Borja sometimes did good in tracking back, but due to his age he could do it consistently.
so we will did later because we have vecino who can play as anchor i think… because his role and style are balanced between attack and defense
D’ambrosio has been solid today…I really think D’ambrosio is starting to be a good FB,and we should probably stop the hate on him as he has been solid for some time now,he didn’t get a call up to national team for no reason as well,and maybe we can gat a new RB but he can still be a good cover or even a starter sometimes…
Ohh and btw Perisic is our best move this summer,and spalleti right next to him
what is wrong with him is consistency… like many player from dark era had… naga, brozo, rano… icardi also sometimes in the past because on my forum we usually talking about how icardi is able to score from difficult position and situation but unable to score on the simplest yet easy position… but now he is turning into beast
i didnt have much hope for ambro because he is such a meh player but maybe in the future he will turn into a late bloomer as serie a always had
now lazio vs milan would be interesting. this time they would face a team with more quality that their last 2 opponent. lazio is not as good as roma, but still thet would face their real chalenge today. and i hope bologna could draw against napoli..^^

Very happy with the victory regarding many of our players returned tired after international caps. Dalbert really showed he will be a starter on the left. He defended well, ran a lot and helped Perisic attacked. Joao Mario’s movement was crucial, Valero’s role like Pirlo’s is more promising…. Keep up the good work Spaletti and the boys! Grazie

I firmly believe good times are coming with Spalleti in the bench. I just hope there will be no trouble from the players as they did under De Boer and Mancini as well.
Once we get going, Spalleti will start paying more attention to our youngsters as well. Having so many youngsters as Bonazzoli, Pinamonti, Manaj and so on is really good to have. As soon as we build a strong chore of the team and a way of playing it will be so much easier for young players to develop and find their feet in our team. And we won’t have to overpay for flops like Kondogbia -_-

I love that Perisic and Candreva contribute so much both in attack and defending. Such as plaesure to see them run back and help the FB’s. Really adds a lot to their overall quality!

True! But Dalbert looks realy promising! His defensive skills looks good. Keeping composed, sliding in with good timing, not playing it to flashy altough being brazil 🙂 D’ambro always put in the fight, but an improvement there is also needed. Just don’t see Cancelo being any better at defending.
