Serie A is certainly becoming a league where foreign nationals are pouring in.  This is slowly becoming an issue for Gian Piero Ventura and the Italian National Team.  In the latest article by Tuttosport, they showcased various figures that out of the 20 Clubs in Serie A, of the 559 players on the rosters, 300 of which were foreigners which is in total 53.6%.

In the most recent week of Serie A (Week 6) of the 220 players in starting lineups for each club, 58.64% were foreigners while 41.36% we’re Italian Nationals.  On week 5, a staggering figure showcases that of the 220 starters for the clubs, 61.82% were foreigners while 38.18% were Italian Nationals.

There have been clubs like Inter and Udinese that have  historically leveraged foreign nationals, however, as of late Roma, Napoli and Fiorentina are seeing a larger percentage of foreign nationals being implemented on their starting lineups.
