FCIN – Inter back in for Vidal, a move depends on the next Bayern manager

Following Carlo Ancelotti’s sacking at Bayern Munich, Inter have reignited their interest in Arturo Vidal FCInterNews.it understand.

The Nerazzurri had courted the Chilean in the summer mercato and despite finding an agreement with him on the basis of a four year contract with a €7.5 million yearly salary, the deal fell through after Ancelotti convinced him to stay and ultimately blocked a transfer. Vidal is understood to have wanted to return to Italy and become a part of Inter’s project even rejecting Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City due to feeling so strongly about wanting a move to the San Siro.

With Ancelotti now gone, Inter are hopeful that they can bring him to the club but doing so in January would be difficult. A lot depends on who Bayern appoint as their new manager and how they see Vidal in their plans for the Bavarian club. If Vidal is not considered in the plans, Bayern could attempt to move him on in January, failing that they will try again in the summer.
