Inter and Joao Miranda have started talks over prolonging the Brazilian’s stay with the club FCInterNews.it report. The central defender is under contract to the San Siro club until the end of the season and Inter officials and his entourage are now discussing the details but it is not clear as to how long he will renew for.
The 33-year-old has proved his worth on a number of occasions and struck up a solid partnership with Milan Skriniar, since the Slovakian arrived in the summer from Sampdoria.
Miranda joined the Nerazzurri back in the summer of 2015 in a €15 million deal and has made close to a century of appearances in all competitions during his stay. Miranda is one of eight players to have played every minute of Inter’s season thus far and been a catalyst in Inter keeping an undefeated record and recording five clean sheets.
