Carlo Muraro: “Inter Have A Small Advantage Due To Having No European Football”

Former Inter midfielder Carlo Muraro was part of the last Inter side to record six straight straight home wins from match day one and the 62-year-old who spent 11 years at Inter across two spells drew comparisons with modern day Inter who are on the verge of replicating the feat last achieved some 39 years ago.

“There have been so many changes in all these years, but the victories are made if you have a good team and Luciano Spalletti was right to think about creating the group he has and has got the results that help cement it,” he told Tuttosport in an interview today.

Muraro won his only scudetto in the aforementioned season and shared whether or not he believes this Inter are capable of achieving scudetto glory this term.

He concluded, “Inter, have no European Football and therefore have a small advantage, in football nothing can be ruled out.”
