Milan Skriniar’s agent Karol Csonto has moved to calm Inter fans in wake of reports suggesting his client is subject to interest from Spanish giants Barcelona in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

“It can not happen, he has his head firmly on his shoulders and a great personality; it is impossible that he can change teams.”

Skriniar has gained many plaudits for his exploits in Nerazzurri since joining in the summer from Sampdoria and Csonto spoke on the 22-year-old central defender’s start to life at the San Siro.

“I am delighted with the impact he has had at Inter. This is partly down to former manager Marco Giampaolo, who worked on growing him a lot while he was with Sampdoria, especially from a tactical point of view.”

Speaking on the Slovakian’s relationship with new manager Luciano Spalletti, Csonto added: “There is a great relationship between them.”

Skriniar has played every minute of Inter’s season thus far and struck up a solid partnership with Miranda in the heart of the defence and popped up with two goals also.
