Standard Liege winger Paul M’Poku revealed some made an interesting revelation regarding Inter in an interview with Dutch outlet Het Belang van Limburg.

“I had a deal with Inter but someone called me and told me that I could go to Paris Saint-Germain. Maybe they wanted to avoid the deal but I told them that I would not go to France because I was still in talks with Inter. Also I knew that I would not get much playing time at PSG.”

The Congolese forward, born in 1992, came up through Tottenham Hotspurs youth academy but failed to break into the first team at White Hart Lane and ahead of the 2011/2012 season he moved to Belgian outfit Standard Liege where he scored 28 goals in 121 matches across all competitions.

This propmted a move to Cagliari and Chievo but he failed to have an impact at either club and currently plays his trade back at Standard Liege where he’s scored 3 goals in 9 matches so far this season.
