Inter’s Eder: “A Shame We Were Unable To Beat Torino”

After the final whistle between Inter and Torino at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, Inter’s Italian international striker Eder who scored the equalizer, shared his thoughts with Sky Sport Italia expressing his bitterness at the two dropped points.

“There is of course disappointment since we always want to win. We played well in the second half and had two chances to score, then we conceded a goal. The team fought well it is just a shame that we could not get the win but a draw is better than a loss. The coach will tell us what went wrong and what kind of improvements we have to do.”

Eder was then asked about having extended his contract with the Nerazzurri stating that “I am happy, I would like to thank Spalletti for his kind words. To have 9 wins after 12 matches is something no-one expected, we think of the Champions League, we have never talked about anything else.”

In conclusion Eder was asked about his role as super sub arguing that “it is not an easy task since you need time to find the proper rythm, but I always give 100% in order to help the team as much as I can.”
