Inter coach Luciano Spalletti stopped by InterTV before attending the official pre-match press conference yesterday ahead of today’s lunch-time Serie A match against Torino at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district, kick-off scheduled at 12.30 pm CET.

How does it feel to be playing for the top spot in the Serie A?

“It does not change anything. We have to be ready at all times and adapt to every situation. We have to take advantage of this opportunity and create fear for our opponents. It’s a nice feeling to be professional.”

What do you think about the atmosphere at San Siro?

“There is love affair between our fans and the team.”

What do you think of the youngsters in the Primavera team?

“We do not limit ourselves to the quality of our team and if someone wants to push further the door is always open to welcome him.”

What are your thoughts on Torino?

“They are a strong and well structured team. They also have a great tactician who knows how to transfer his personality to the players. We must stay focused when playing them.”

What do you think about Nagatomo and D’Ambrosio’s seasons so far?

“I did not have a bag full of quality to give to the players when I arrived, I only had documents to give to the Human Resources department. These things are the fruit of teamwork. You can’t go anywhere as an individual if the team isn’t playing team football.”
