Inter Coach Spalletti Tips Either Belotti Or Icardi To Become Serie A Top Scorer

Inter Milan head coach Luciano Spalletti was interviewed by Premium Sport in anticipation of today’s lunch-match fixture in the Serie A against Torino.

When asked about the quality of Granata striker Andrea Belotti, Spalletti replied “Belotti is one those players who can drastically improve his team in the standings.  It is quite certain that due to his injury, it hasn’t benefited Torino in the table.”

Spalletti was then questioned as to whom he thinks is better of the two between Belotti and Icardi, to which he stated “in my opinion those are two players who will battle it out in the capocannoniere race along side Mertens and Dzeko.  There are six or seven of these strikers in this Serie A campaign.”

When asked if Sunday’s match is somewhat of a trap game against Torino, he concluded the interview stating “yes and it’s a big one because they’re a very difficult opponent, very strong physically but with great technique as well.  We need to play as a group, attentive to every reaction necessary.”
