Mauro Icardi at risk for Inter-Atalanta

Inter striker and captain Mauro Icardi is at risk for the Nerazzurri’s next fixture at home to Atalanta on Sunday November 19 according to Tuttosport.

The Argentine international suffered a knock during the 1-1 draw with Torino as a result of a collison with Granata defender Nicolas N’Koulou. Upon examination, it was confirmed that the 24-year-old has injured a tendon in his right knee.

Icardi had been summoned by Argentine national team manager for the South American nation’s two upcoming friendlies against Russia and Nigeria over the international break but has been ordered to take a seven day rest period.
