Inter Sporting Director Piero Ausilio To Meet With Santos Officials

The latest international break gives clubs a chance to establish a last minute transfer strategy before going into the January transfer window. With this opportunity, Inter’s Sporting Director, Piero Ausilio will use this time to meet with club officials and representatives rof Brazilian club, Santos. There will be many discussions going on during this meeting, more specifically transfers between the two clubs. The players that are of interest include Yuri Alberto, Lucas Lima and even Gabigol.

Luiz Taveira, a Santos representative confirmed the upcoming meeting in an interview with Calciomercato.com.

“Next week we are going to have a meeting with him [Ausilio], he will see a match and meet with the board, there are so many different topics to be spoken about.

“Gabigol? I personally like him very much, he also likes Santos and we will certainly talk to Inter about him. If Inter allow it, we are prepared to bring him back. There is always room for Gabigol.”

Taveira also spoke on the situation of Lucas Lima, who has been linked with Inter in the past and Yuri Alberto.

“Lucas Lima will be a free agent from December. He does not want to renew with us, so I can not say anything.

“Yuri Alberto is the new Robinho, he’s liked by half of Europe and Real Madrid has even offered to pay his €45 million release clause, but Santos said no.”
