Inter striker and captain Mauro Icardi has taken to Instagram to share his relief that his injury is not as serious as first feared.
The Argentine international suffered a knock during the 1-1 draw with Torino and was forced to withdraw from international duty. Moreover, it was feared that he may miss the game with Atalanta on Sunday 19 November but he is expected to be back in full training at the start of next week and available to Inter manager Luciano Spalletti for selection.
“Thank God it is only a knock and nothing more serious as previously thought. Now I must think about recovering as soon as possible,” he posted.
