Gabigol has disappointed everyone since joining Portuguese reigning champions Benfica on loan this past summer. The Brazilian youngster went to Portugal hoping to show Inter and the world what he could do but instead, he has barely found any playing time.

Since moving to the Portuguese side, Gabigol has only scored one goal for Benfica and Portuguese newspaper, Record, reports that after pleading with Benfica to give him more chances, Inter will be looking to loan out Gabigol to PSV Eindhoven this January when the transfer window opens. The Dutch Eredivisie club seem more convincing in their plans to invole Gabigol in first team football.

There has also been interest from some Brazilian sides over the past few days with his former club Santos, Sao Paolo, and Flamengo all having looked into bringing Gabigol back to his native Brazil.

Gabigol has not been able to prove he is worth the €30 million price tag that Inter paid over a year ago. Since his move to Europe, he has only scored two goals, one for Inter and one for Benfica.
