Inter’s back-up goalkeeper behind Samir Handanovic, Daniele Padelli gave an interview to Premium Sport regarding this past Sunday’s 1-1 draw for the Nerazzurri in the Serie A at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district against his former club Torino.

“Aside from the fact that Torino are a very good team and that it is always difficult to play against them, I think we missed our chance on Sunday and dropped two points. However, we can take some positives from the draw, there will be things to analyze which did not work out as well as planned but we are all here to learn from our mistakes” Padelli stated.

The former Granata keeper was then asked who he thought was the best goalkeeper in the Serie A right now to which he replied that “I think that Samir Handanovic is the best goalkeeper around. He has improved since his time at Udinese where he already was phenomenal. He is a complete goalkeeper and he deserves all the praise he is currently getting as he always gves 300%.”
