Gabriel Barbosa may have to hunt for a new team as early as January according to reports. The Brazilian striker seems destined to return early from his loan with Portuguese club Benfica due to frustration brought on by lack of game time, where, much like his time at Inter, he has been given minimal opportunities to showcase his talent.

There will be numerous options available to him, but the latest idea comes from Portugal. As reported by Record, Inter are thinking about exchanging Gabigol with their cousins Jiangsu Suning which would see Ramires move to Inter. This solution however would not be ideal, since the club would not have the consent of the young Brazilian who is desperate to prove himself in Europe, possibly at a less competitive club and if that doesn’t work then a return to Santos is favoured over China as well.

The 21-year-old has made a mere 10 league appearances between his spells at Inter and Benfica and has only managed to score one league goal.
