This afternoon there was some good news coming out of Inter’s training ground at Appiano Gentile where Sky Italia reported that Inter captain, Mauro Icardi trained with the rest of his teammates ahead of Sunday nights game at home to Atalanta in Serie A.
Today saw the first training session for Inter players in the lead up to the weekend fixture at the San Siro after the players not on international duty, had been granted 2 days leave by the club. Sky also reported that Icardi’s recovery from knee injury is so far going to plan they just wait to see how his knee responds after a week of therapy.
It is thought that all is well and as Inter club doctor Piero Volpi suggested a few days ago, the Argentine forward should be fit to take to the field on Sunday night with his teammates. Icardi has netted 11 goals in 12 outings this term and been highly influential to Inter’s good star.
